I must be old.

So apparently I am an old lady now.  I can't hang with these young folks anymore.
Saturday night Cat, Billie and I went out for a girl's night.  The old marrieds (me and Cat) would have enjoyed a quiet little pub with some little table in a corner to sit and chat at.  Billie had a different plan for us.  We went where the people are.  Where the bass rattles your insides.  Where you have to navigate your way through a sea of breasts and butts to get to the restroom.  Where the line to get drinks is conveniently located in the center of 15 middle aged men.  Yeah, you know the place, the Kadena Officers Club.  It was fun though...
I GOT DRESSED UP!! (though my calves were killing me from wearing heals all night) I GOT TO DANCE!! (though I knew none of the songs) I GOT TO DRINK!! (though Abs and Crans might not be reuniting with me too soon)  I DIDN'T HAVE TO DRIVE!! (though that taxi was waaaaay too expensive) IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! (though I'll probably never do it again).
Thank you Billie for pulling my old butt out and making me go "clubbing" (is that what the young people are calling it still??)  At least we got some great people watching in...oh yeah, and free popcorn, can't forget about the free popcorn.

That sounds like so much fun Abbey, good for you! It reminds me of our Alpha Co wives Karaoke nights in Stafford.

OMG. No you didn't!

1. You look great. Cat looks great. Billie looks great.

2. How did you feel the next day?

3. Sad that "my day" was before it was called "clubbing".
